Cisco Retires Business Value Classes

Digital Transformation strikes again! The buzzword has most recently infiltrated Cisco’s “Business Value” line of courses. In an effort to enable sales professionals to better understand their customers’ technology solutions and how they meet business needs, Cisco will be retiring the “Business Value” line and releasing a new line of “Business Architecture” courses that focus on the digital transformation happening all around us. The certifications will be changing accordingly.

Through these new courses, you’ll be greatly expanding your knowledge to better position yourself as an expert in your field, with the ability to assist your customers in choosing relevant solutions for their unique business needs. Cisco has done a great job of revamping these business classes. Our experts agree that everything from the course format, learning objectives and case scenarios have been improved. For those of us that didn’t like homework in school, you’ll be glad to hear that these new courses don’t require any pre-work!

If you’re one of many who already have a Cisco Business Value certification, you’ll be able to hold on to it until its expiration date. Likewise, if you’ve already taken the courses for a Cisco Business Value certification, you can still test until December 29, 2017 for the Cisco Business Value Analyst and Cisco Business Value Specialist certifications. Testing for the Cisco Business Value Practitioner certification will be open until February 15, 2018.
