Defining SDA & the Catalyst 9000 Switches

It was late 2017 when Cisco first unveiled their new Software-Defined Access (SDA) solution to the world. SDA offers users a high-level insight into what is happening in their network, without compromising on the expert-level security that Cisco has become synonymous with. The goal of SDA is to make managing your network more seamless and streamlined by boosting operational effectiveness through a consistent user experience.

SDA also runs on the new Cisco Catalyst 9000 switches- CRN’s 2017 Overall Network Product of the Year. These deliver exceptional programmability and performance, all without sacrificing security. Introducing an entirely new era of networking (dubbed The Network Intuitive), the Catalyst 9000 switches operate as part of one fabric. This provides faster, more secure network access, eliminating the need to alter each switch individually.

We recognize that you will want to update your knowledge and skills around these exciting new Cisco SDA and Catalyst 9000 switch technologies. Therefore, Fast Lane has developed a new course that covers the important concepts and components of this new solution. Cisco SDA Essentials (SDACE) is a 3-Day class that is completely tailored to help you get up-to-date on implementation procedures as well as how to design and deploy a SDA solution. As is the case with most Fast Lane courses, SDACE can be taken virtually or live in a classroom and we have opened up a multitude of dates to make it as convenient as possible for you to attend this unique course.
