In this five-day face-to-face training, you will acquire the basic networking skills you need to deploy and support Windows Server 2016 in most organizations. The training covers IP basics, remote access technologies and advanced topics such as software-defined networking.

This course is designed for IT professionals with network knowledge and experience who want to gain insight into general and advanced network technologies in Windows Server 2016 in a single five-day course. This target group usually includes: • Network administrators who want to expand their knowledge and learn about the new and changed features in Windows Server 2016. • System or infrastructure administrators with general network knowledge who want to acquire basic and advanced network knowledge and skills under Windows Server 2016. The secondary target audience for this course includes IT professionals who want to take the MCSA 70-741 exam: “Configuring Networks with Windows Server 2016”.

Prerrequisitos

In addition to their professional experience, the course participants should already have the following technical knowledge: • Experience working with Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2012 • Experience working in a corporate environment based on a Windows server infrastructure • The OSI model (Open Systems Interconnection) • Understand basic network infrastructure components and technologies such as cabling, routers, hubs, and switches • Familiarity with network technologies and architectures such as local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs) and wireless networks • Some basic knowledge of the TCP / IP protocol stack, addressing and name resolution • Experience with and knowledge of Hyper-V and virtualization • Practical experience with Windows client operating systems such as Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 Course participants can meet the requirements by participating in one of the following courses or by having prior knowledge:
