Product Description

The SAN Fundamentals on Data ONTAP course teaches SAN concepts, terminology, and operations for Data ONTAP and clustered Data ONTAP implementations. The course begins with single-path connectivity and graduates to full multiple path iSCSI and FC configurations. The course uses lectures, animation and interactive demonstrations showing 7-Mode and clustered Data ONTAP commands. You learn to prepare SAN infrastructure, provision storage, create and manage LUNs, configure both single-path and multiple path connectivity to the LUN, and analyze the effects of high-availability configuration on a FC SAN.
